McDonald Garden Center and Monrovia have a long history together. Dating back to the 1970's, Monrovia and McDonald joined together to bring premium plant material and exclusive plant varieties to residents of Hampton Roads. The signature store boutique was launched in the spring of 2008 at McDonald Garden Center's Virginia Beach, Hampton, and Chesapeake locations. During spring 2010, a Monrovia feature was added at each McDonald Garden Market throughout Hampton Roads.
