Presented by Vernelle Curtis
Daylilies are a favorite of ours here at McDonald Garden Center for many reasons. Tough, resilient, and easy growers, daylilies are excellent for masses of sunny color. For disease prevention, growing tips, and how to get the most out of these breath-taking bloomers, don’t miss this amazing seminar from a leader in the field. Seminar is FREE. Registration not required. Seating is limited.
About the speaker: Vernelle Curtis has been a member of the Tidewater Daylily Society since 2010. Vernelle moved to an area in Virginia Beach with nothing but clay for dirt. At that time, Vernelle began her search for a hardy perennial. The search was over. Vernelle selected daylilies. Now, Vernelle has daylilies that bloom from spring to autumn. Since becoming a TDS member, Vernelle’s eyes are immediately drawn to daylilies. She has a hawk-eye for miniature and small blooms. As the season begins, Vernelle awaits her daylilies to welcome her with a daily, hardy “good morning!”
