Starting plants from seed is one of the most exciting and rewarding gardening activities. Nothing can top a homegrown tomato or beat a beet fresh from the garden. Meredith has all the info to make your next salad and epic one. Seminar is FREE. Registration not required. Seating is limited.

About the speaker: Meredith Simmons is a lifelong local of Hampton Roads and a graduate from Old Dominion University. Meredith works at the Norfolk Botanical Garden as their Greenhouse Technician. At the Garden, she teaches classes on seeds such as Winter Sowing, Seed Sowing for Beginners, Breaking Seed Dormancy, and even hosts seed swaps twice annually. Sowing seeds is a large part of her job to help make the Gardens beautiful, and she is looking forward to sharing her knowledge with the Hampton Roads community.
